Texas Independence Relay Info
The Texas Independence Relay is composed of 40 relay legs of various lengths, totaling over 200 miles. The course starts in Gonzales, TX, where the Texas Revolution began, and it finishes at the San Jacinto Monument, where Texas Independence was won!
The relay will run from March 7th - 8th.
8 original Waiting for Runs Relay members will be returning (we will miss abelisle, the Foos, & Mystery runner)
This time, we will up the challenge and have 9 runners in a luxurious 15 passenger van. This means no resting time for the 2nd van.

below is the garmin data for my 3 legs. the run up to the bridge in leg 18 was a challenge, but check out the elevation change in leg 30!

my nano deleted my nike+ data :( But I still have my garmin.
my nano data is nowhere near as accurate for my first two legs when i was running a bit quicker than normal. got my sport band today! can't wait to give it a go tomorrow. it came just in time for my marathon this weekend, glad i won't have to carry around a nano with no music.
I posted mine earlier, Dan. Got my Sportsband also and it looks sweet. This way i can get a constant readout on pace!
going for my first sportband run this evening, can't wait to see how it works. alex - are you going to post your pics? i think you took a few of me finishing my legs and i'm interested to see how goofy i looked! :)
